Hey friends,
We SO enjoyed recording and releasing a new episode last week. It felt good to be behind the mic again, and we hope you picked up a book recommendation or two. In the episode, we mentioned setting some reading goals in order to help us read more often and stay focused. Curtis has been listening to an audiobook, and Chelsey is working on reading her Advanced Reading Copies on NetGalley.
Reading isn’t a competitive sport, but we find that when we’re consistent with our reading habits, we’re calmer, happier, and sharper. When we’re reading great books, our minds are engaged and we enjoy learning. We’ll update you on how we’re progressing with those reading goals in next week’s episode.

Books
Chelsey:
Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert: I’ve raved about Get a Life, Chloe Brown on the podcast, and I’m so glad the second book in the Brown sisters series went beyond my expectations. I love Hibbert’s wit and sass, her character building is excellent, and this book was just so completely charming! I loved it. Plus, I had this one as an early copy via NetGalley, I can check off part of my reading goal for this week. FYI: this romance is very steamy, open door.
Curtis:
The End is Always Near: Apocalyptic Moments from the Bronze Age Collapse to Nuclear Near Misses by Dan Carlin: I’m listening to this on audio right now, so I’ll have more of an update to share on our next episode. I love Carlin’s podcast, and he narrates the book, so it’s a fun listening experience so far. Stay tuned for more of a review.
